Veteran music industry professional, Walter Stewart has been retained by Robert D. Battis - Founder, President & CEO of the Big Bang Entertainment Company, LLC (BBEC) as a Consultant to the company including the “Bangers” All American Rock-n-Roll Band.
He was approached by Robert D. Battis to evaluate the structure of BBEC, and to listen to the music of “Bangers” Band. Walter was totally impressed by the company's unique structure including a recording studio, record label and a publishing company all divisions of BBEC. He was also impressed with the goals and objectives of the company. He saw that Robert and BBEC were solid. He saw the needs of the business could be met with his experience including creative inputs, business plan inputs and business implementation. Walter also saw that he and Robert were on the same page in regards to where BBEC and the “Bangers” are today, to where they want to go in the future.
Stewart was blown away by a song the “Bangers” had recorded, “STAR SPANGLED FREEDOM” © . He feels this song can be another Anthem for the United States of America.
Stewart has worked as President of Soul City Records, Road Manager, Record Producer, Personal Manager as well as booking agent. He is still currently working with Rock n' Roll Legend Johnny (Secret Agent Man) Rivers, heading up his touring and management companies. He is also the West Coast agent for Mars Talent Agency.
He brings his 30 plus years of experience in the entertainment industry to BBEC. His assistance in structuring and implementing plans for the company to achieve its goals, will help BBEC to build its full service Music Production, Management, Publishing as well as an Independent Record Label.
In the past Stewart has worked with such notable Artists as Loverboy, Stonebolt, Jim Foster, Wolfman Jack, Kathy Westmoreland and was instrumental in taking the first ever Rock Band, Sherock, to record and tour in Mainland China.
Walter is a BMI writer and has been a voting member of The Recording Academy since 1978.
